Monday the 19th:
🛞Kids come and go craft. This week we are making a kindness wheel. This craft will be available all day to do in the library or to take home to do later! 🛞
Roblox tween table from 4:00pm-5:00pm. There are only 2 computers here for kids to use, so you are encouraged to bring your own device. This program is appropriate for ages 8-12!
Tuesday the 20th:
🎭Paradise Valley Theater Company from 1:00pm-2:00pm. This week we will be performing a puppet show about kindness. This is a program hosted by your interim director, River Shields! This program is aimed at ages 0-8, but all are welcome! 🎭
Kid, tween, and teen open hour from 4:00pm-5:00pm. Play games, study, or just hangout! There are only 2 computers here for kids to use, so you are encouraged to bring your own device. This program is appropriate for ages 6 and up.
⭐Adult craft night from 6:00pm-7:30pm. This month we are painting wooden stars. You had to register in advance for this event. ⭐
Wednesday the 21st:
🐕Love on a leash from 1:00pm-2:00pm. Join us at Watson park at 500 N Logan St, Belle Plaine, KS 67013. Love on a leash is where you can come and read to therapy dogs! This event is welcome to all ages!🐕

Thursday the 22nd:
🪨Adult and teen come and go craft available all day! This week we are making kindness rocks. 🪨
📿Perler bead club from 3:30pm-4:30pm. Perler Beads are plastic fusible beads. The beads are arranged on pegboards to form patterns and then fused together with an iron by a library assistant. This program is appropriate for kids ages 8 and up.📿

Friday the 23rd:
📖Storytime at 1:00pm. Read stories and sing songs with us! This program is aimed at kids ages 0-8. 📖
🐲Dragons of the Caribbean – Dungeons and Dragons club from 3:30pm-5:30pm. This program is appropriate for ages 11-15. There is a 15-person limit, so you need to register in advance for this club. Information on how to contact us is in the flyer below.🐲
☀️Kids Kraft Night from 4:00pm-6:00pm. This month we are making sun catchers. This program is appropriate for kids ages 8 and up. No registration required. ☀️
Other events:
📗Storywalk on June 25th at 4:00pm at the Bartlett Arboretum. When you register for summer reading you will be given a Storywalk family pass which allows you to enter the arboretum for free. You must have this pass with you and present it at the Arboretum gate to get in free. 📗
📕The Belle Plaine Public Library is happy to host local author Tammy Hader for her book release. Join us on June 29th, 2023, at 6:30pm at the Library for a classy evening where Tammy will read excerpts from her book, and we will enjoy some food and beverages. This event is for ages 18 and up.📕
