Monday the 10th:
Kids come and go craft. This week we are making bookmarks. This craft will be available all day to do in the library or to take home to do later!
Creation station from 4:00pm-5:00pm. We have Lego’s, coloring, origami, quilling, and more! This program is appropriate for kids ages 6 and up!
Tuesday the 11th:
PVTC – Paradise valley theater company from 1:00pm-2:00pm.This week we will be playing theater games. This is a program hosted by your interim director, River Shields! This program is aimed at ages 8-14, but all are welcome! To all who attend this event, there will be snow cones afterward!
Kid, tween, and teen open hour from 4:00pm-5:00pm. Play games, study, or just hangout! There are only 2 computers here for kids to use, so you are encouraged to bring your own device. This program is appropriate for ages 6 and up.
Wednesday the 12th:
Exploration place at the Belle Plaine Community Center from 1:00pm-3:00pm. Experience hands on learning and fun! This program is open to all summer reading registrants.

Thursday the 13th:
Adult and teen come and go craft. This week we are making blackout poetry. This craft will be available all day to do in the library!
Perler bead club from 3:30pm-4:30pm. Perler Beads are plastic fusible beads. The beads are arranged on pegboards to form patterns and then fused together with an iron by a library assistant. This program is appropriate for kids ages 8 and up.

Friday the 14th:
Storytime at 1:00pm. Read stories and sing songs with us! This program is aimed at kids ages 0-8.
Dragons of the Caribbean – Dungeons and Dragons club from 3:30pm-5:30pm. This program is appropriate for ages 11-15. There is a15-person limit, so you need to register in advance for this club. Information on how to contact us is in the flyer below.
Other events:
Sign up for adult craft night! This month we are making barn quilt ornaments. Registration is required, as supplies are limited. First come, first serve. You can register by calling 620-488-3431, emailing bplib@sktc.net, or messaging us over Facebook. To register, we need your first and last name and a way to contact you.
Sign up for teen craft night! At this months teen craft night we will be making wooden coasters. You must register in advance for this event. To register call 620-488-3431, email bplib@sktc.net, or message us over Facebook.
Join us on July 18th at 1:00pm for special guest visitor, The Talented Jodi! Watch yo-yo tricks, plate spinning, violin playing and more! To all who attend this event, there will be snow cones afterward!
Prize week for our summer reading program starts July 24th, so make sure to check off all those bingo’s for more grand prize drawing tickets! Our prizes include, coloring books, a 500 piece Lego set, a rice cooker, a hot dog roller, a Squishmellow, a screwdriver and bit set, a fishing pole, glow stars, and a drink mixer!
