Local Library Line-up.
Monday the 5th:
📿Kids come and go craft, available all day! This week we are making friendship bracelets. This craft will be available all day to do in the library or to take home to do later! 📿
Roblox tween table from 4:00pm-5:00pm. There are only 2 computers here for kids to use, so you are encouraged to bring your own device. This program is appropriate for ages 8-12!
Tuesday the 6th:
🎭PVTC (Paradise Valley Theater Company) from 1:00pm-2:00pm. This week we will be playing theater games. 🎭
Kid, tween, and teen open hour from 4:00pm-5:00pm. Play games, study, or just hangout! There are only 2 computers here for kids to use, so you are encouraged to bring your own device. This program is appropriate for ages 6 and up.
Wednesday the 7th:🌊Water Balloon fight from 1:00pm-2:00pm at Watson Park. 500 N Logan St, Belle Plaine, KS 67013. All ages welcome! Thursday the 8th:
📿Adult/Teen come and go craft, available all day! This week we will be making friendship bracelets. 📿
Perler bead club from 3:30pm-4:30pm. Perler Beads are plastic fusible beads. The beads are arranged on pegboards to form patterns and then fused together with an iron by a library assistant. This program is appropriate for kids ages 8 and up.

Friday the 9th:
📖Storytime at 1:00pm. Read stories and sing songs with us! This program is aimed at kids ages 0-8. 📖
Hula Hoop Competition from 2:00pm-3:00pm. This competition is for all ages! Come and join us for some hula hoop fun!
🐲Dragons of the Caribbean – Dungeons and Dragons club from 3:30pm-5:30pm. This program is appropriate for ages 11-15. There is a15-person limit, so you need to register in advance for this club. Information on how to contact us is in the flyer below.
Saturday the 10th:
📚More than a book sale – part 2! From 8:00am-2:00pm at the Belle Plaine Public Library. We will also be selling DVDs, magazines, used Dell desktops, a vintage ladder, craft kits and more! 📚
Other events:🇺🇸Register for adult craft night. At this month’s adult craft night, we will be painting and decorating wooden stars. Registration is required, as supplies are limited. First come, first serve. You can register by calling 620-488-3431, emailing bplib@sktc.net, or messaging us over Facebook. To register, we need your first and last name and a way to contact you.🇺🇸The next teen craft will be announced soon, so stay tuned.📖Storywalk on June 25th at 4:00pm at the Bartlett Arboretum. When you register for summer reading you will be given a Storywalk family pass which allows you to enter the arboretum for free. You must have this pass with you and present it at the Arboretum gate to get in free.📖📘The Belle Plaine Public Library is happy to host local author Tammy Hader for her book release. Join us on June 29th, 2023, at 6:30pm at the Library for a classy evening where Tammy will read excerpts from her book, and we will enjoy some food and beverages. This event is for ages 18 and up. 📘
