What’s happening next week?
Monday the 9th:
Creation station from 4:00pm-5:00pm. We have Lego’s, coloring, origami, quilling, and more! This program is appropriate for kids ages 6 and up!
Tuesday the 10th:
Kid, tween, and teen open hour from 3:30pm-4:30pm. Play games, study, or just hang out. There are only two computers here for kids to use, so you are encouraged to bring your own device. This program is appropriate for ages 6 and up.
Wednesday the 11th:
Kid, tween, and teen open hour from 3:30pm-4:30pm. Play games, study, or just hang out. There are only two computers here for kids to use, so you are encouraged to bring your own device. This program is appropriate for ages 6 and up.
Thursday the 12th:
Perler bead club from 3:30pm-4:30pm. Perler Beads are plastic fusible beads. The beads are arranged on peg boards to form patterns and then fused together with an iron by a library assistant. This program is appropriate for kids ages 8 and up.
Friday the 13th:
Storytime at 10:30am. Read stories and sing songs with us. This program is aimed at ages 0-8.
Dragons of the Caribbean – Dungeons and Dragons club from 3:30pm-5:30pm. This program is appropriate for ages 11-15. There is a 15-person limit, so you need to register in advance for this club. Information on how to contact us is in the flyer below.

Check out our book club! This month we are discussing the book The guest list by Lucy Foley.
Sign up for crock-tober! Come by the library during open hours, pick a recipe from our cookbook, then we’ll come together and have a crock pot feast. This event takes place on October 17th from 6:00pm-7:30pm.
Sign up for adult craft night. For the October 26th craft from 6:00pm-7:30pm we will be making turkey wreaths. You must register in advance for this event. Please call 620-488-3431, email bplib@sktc.net or message us over Facebook.
The Belle Plaine Public Library is hiring a director! Please come by the library during open hours to pick up an application.
Due to staffing shortages, effective October 16th (Until further notice) the library will be open, Monday 10am-6pm, Tuesday 3pm-8pm, Wednesday 2pm-6pm,Thursday 3pm-8pm, and Friday 2pm-6pm.
